W R O C L A W, P O L A N D

Wroclaw is located in the south-west of Poland and is one of the most beautiful Polish cities. I simply love the city.

THE MAIN MARKET SQUARE

Wroclaw has got a gorgeous Main Market Square. The above photo was taken from the tower of St Elizabeth's Church.

In the Main Market Square there is also a beautiful modern fountain.

Look at the colours of the tenement buildings. Don't they look fantastic?

JAPANESE GARDEN

The Japanese Garden, located in Szczytnicki Parkis a fantastic place for a relaxation. When I was there in May the smell of azalea made this place a real paradise.

WROCLAW ZOO
The Wroclaw Zoo is probably the most famous zoo in Poland as in the past a TV programme about animals was done there. It is also the oldest and the largest Polish zoo when it comes to the number of animals The Wroclaw Zoo is close to the Centennial Hall (Hala Ludowa) and the Japanese Garden.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS
Another place which is worth visiting is the Racławice Panorama, which is a monumental painting (15x114 meter) presenting the Battle of Racławice.

I would also recommend visiting the Botanic Gardens which is a spectacular and perfect place to relax.

Wroclaw is a must if you plan your trip to Poland. The city is really beautiful, maybe it is a bit underestimated, but the beauty of the city should absolutely attract your attention and I am sure you will not regret once you visit Wroclaw.
