I took a tram to the Royal Botanic Gardens. First I saw the Shrine of Remembrance - the war memorial and then I entered the Royal Botanic Gardens which is free. They are really beautiful and it's very quiet there, but many plants withered due to heat and drought.

When I left the Royal Botanic Gardens I passed the Olympic Park and then reached Rod Laver Arena where the Australian Open in tennis takes place every year. It was a great time for me as I am crazy about tennis and Australian Open is my favourite tennis tournament. What a pity I could not be there when the tournament was. That's what I initially wanted, but I could not come in January as I had to work.

Later I went to the beach at St Kilda and there was a beautiful sunset.

I love St Klida as it was so close to the beach and I love the atmosphere of Acland Street which is full of restaurants and cake shops. There is even one Polish cake shop Europa.
