BLUE MOUNTAINS 20/02/2009

It was the day of a trip to the Blue Mountains which I had booked few days ago at the hostel. The bus took me to the Circular Quay and there I changed to another coach.

The first stop was just outside Sydney in the place called Featherdale Wildlife Park where we could meet wallabies, kangaroos, koalas, dingos and watch the feeding of a crocodile.

During the second stop the driver, who traditionally was also a guide, presented us throwing a boomerang. Then we had a lunch in a place called Wentworth Falls. There was a smorgasbord and food was delicious. I particularly remember sweet and juicy watermelon. Yummy.

After some drive we reached the place called Echo Point from which it was possible to admire the highest peak of the Blue Mountains - Three Sisters. Then we went to the Scenic World. I bought tickets and went by a cablecar down to the plcae where I could take a walkway among the trees. Then I took a cableway back.

We drove a bit and had another stop where we could see a waterfall. Then we stopped in a small town called Leura. We had some free time and I drank coffee and had a cake. Finally a bit of rest.

When we reached Sydney we got off at the station Sydney Olympic Park. We boarded the ship Matilda and went to the Circular Quay where I had another night photo shoot of the harbour.
